Should I rent from my villa or from a rental shop?
A villa or hotel can usually arrange a scooter for you, but it arranges it with a rental shop and adds a margin for the phone call. Going to the shop yourself tends to get you three things the villa cannot.
By Ade Lanang Prices and rules on this page last checked July 2026.
The first is the shop's own price rather than a marked-up one. The second is a choice of bike: you can pick the model, look at its condition and run your own checks, instead of taking whatever happens to be spare that morning. The third is a direct line: if the bike stops working, you call the people who own it rather than a front desk passing the message along.
Rodaku is built around that direct route. A shop's page shows its actual bikes, each tied to one licence plate, and your request goes to that shop and nobody else. Nothing is added to the price for making the introduction, and the rate you saw is the rate you pay.
